Kang Dong-won's New Venture Draws International Attention
Renowned actor Kang Dong-won has recently made headlines by establishing his own independent agency. The actor has named his agency 'AA Group,' according to the latest report from OSEN.
Since December of last year, Kang Dong-won had been a free agent, declining exclusive contracts with existing agencies and instead focusing on laying the groundwork for his independent venture. This decision was revealed earlier this year when it was reported that he had been preparing for this move since January.
It has also been disclosed that a former editor-in-chief of H Magazine, who had previously worked closely with Kang Dong-won on a biweekly basis, is now serving as the representative of AA Group alongside him.
Furthermore, Kang Dong-won expressed his openness to recruiting fellow actors who share similar visions and goals. This suggests that AA Group aims to grow beyond being a one-person agency and transform into a major entertainment company.
In addition to acting, Kang Dong-won has shown great interest in film and drama script development and production. Alongside establishing his agency, he is also operating a separate production company.
